SOHO ‘White Collection’ Marlborough Pinot Noir Rosé 2016

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 25-Jul-2016
Bright, candy-floss pink colour with light purple hues, lighter on the rim. The nose I soft, gentle and harmonious with fresh and clear aromas of strawberries with raspberry notes, along with fragrant red florals and some fruit pastille confectionary and subtle herb elements. Off-dry to taste and light-medium bodied, bright and fragrant, lifted fruit flavours of strawberries and raspberries show with red floral and confectionary notes. The fruit forms a harmonious core with good presence, the textures soft and the acidity gentle and integrated. The palate is subtly mouthwatering and the wine flows easily to a soft light, fine-textured finish. This is a harmonious, aromatic, off-dry rosé with strawberry, raspberry and soft confectionary flavour and a smooth-flowing mouthfeel. Serve as an aperitif and with tapas and dim sum over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir from the ‘Hagen’ vineyard, Southern Valleys, fermented to 12.5% alc. and 6.0 g/L RS. 17.5/20 Jul 2016 RRP $20.00
