Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 30-Aug-2022
Bright, pale yellow with a green sheen, even colour throughout. This has an intense, spicy bouquet, aromas of lime and white cassis entwined with fennel and white spice. Medium-bodied, lime and white cassis nuance enriched by zest, fennel and cardamom. Mouthwatering acidity carries zest and spice through the palate and leaves a herbaceous and spicy finish, adding interest. The mouthfeel is lightly grippy with sandy phenolics. This Sauvignon Blanc shows vibrant fruit with intense herbaceous details and a textural mouthfeel. Match with flatfish and Vietnamese summer rolls over the next 3-4 years. 13% alc. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Aug 2022 RRP $26
