SOHO ‘Peggy’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 27-Nov-2016
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless on the rim. This has fresh and clean nose with an elegantly concentrated core of pungent passionfruit aromas along with subtle notes of fresh herbs and a suggestion of minerals. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, this wine is slender in proportion with flavours of passionfruit entwined with nuances of gooseberries, herbs and minerals. The mouthfeel is fresh and zesty with bright, lively acidity, and the wine follows a light, grippy-textured line. The wine carries to a light, clean, dry finish with restrained passionfruit motes. This is a clean, fresh and lively, light Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit flavours and a dry, textured mouthfeel. Serve with as an aperitif, with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Named after the SOHO matriarch. Marlborough fruit fermented to 13.0% alc. 16.5-/20 Nov 2016 RRP On-premise only
