SOHO ‘Harry’ Marlborough Rosé 2016

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 27-Nov-2016
Bright, pale, candy-floss pink with a little depth, lighter on the rim. The nose is light with aromas of strawberry compote, pomegranate, red florals and watermelon, and subtle thirst-quenching mineral elements. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses light flavours of savoury strawberry compote with pomegranate, red florals and nuances of confectionary. The fruit has subtle richness and rounded textures and shows a sweet and sour balance. Light structure and line carry the soft, savoury flavours to a funky, dry, mouthwatering finish. This is a light, dryish rosé with savoury strawberry compote and confectionary elements with some palate richness. Match with Asian fare and tapas over the next 18 months to 2 years. Marlborough fruit fermented to 13.0% alc. and 5.5 g/L RS. 16.0+/20 Nov 2016 RRP On-premise only
