Soho Bobby Pinot Noir 2020, Marlborough

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 05-May-2021
Moderate, even ruby-red with good transparency, youthful appearance. Youthful and generous on the nose, vibrantly full nuances of red berries, cherries and spices accompanied by a hint of roasted coffee and perfume. Medium-bodied, sour cherries, red berries have concentration and intensity, layered spices and subtle notes of mocha linger to a moderately long finish. Fine-grained tannin provides a light grip and velvety palate; lively acidity drives a salivating flow. This is a youthful, red-fruited Pinot Noir that possesses subtle spices, mocha notes and a light tannin grip. Match with pork belly and salami over the next 3 years. Fruit sourced from Wairau and Awatere Valleys, fermented to 13% alc. Vegan friendly. 17.5-/20 pts (87 pts) May 2021 RRP $25
