Soho Bobby Pinot Noir 2020, Marlborough

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 17-Aug-2021
Moderately deep ruby-red with good transparency, slightly lighter edged. The bouquet is delicate and fragranced, penetrating aromas of red cherries, raspberries melded with lifted florals and a little spices. Medium-light bodied, aromas of red cherries, ripe raspberries enriched by hibiscus, earth and subtle spices. The mouthfeel is soft with powdery tannin extraction, along with a creamy MLF element. This is very approachable, a delicate Pinot Noir with purity on a fine-textured palate. Match with beef carpaccio and pork loin over the next 3 years. The fruit was sourced from Wairau & Awatere Valleys, fermented to 13% alc. 18/20 pts (90 pts) Aug 2021 RRP $25
