Soderberg ‘Single Vineyard’ ‘Home Block’ Marlborough Pinot Noir 2010

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 20-Nov-2013
Full, even ruby-red colour, lighter on rim. The nose is softly full with fine and complex aromas of black cherries and dark red berry fruits harmoniously intermixed with undergrowth and savoury herb nuances. Medium-bodied, flavours of dark red berry fruit and savoury red cherries form a rich-fruited and bight, lively palate. The fruit is supported by fine, supple tannins and enriched by lacy acidity. This is succulent with an integrated and balanced mouthfeel, the palate possessing a fine core and linearity that leads to a fresh, gently flavoured and textured finish. This is a seamless flowing, succulent Pinot Noir that is beginning to show some complexing savouriness. Match with poultry and pork, and with Middle Eastern cuisine over the next 5-6 years. 13.0% alc. 115 dozen made. 18.0+/20 Sep 2013 RRP $37.00
