Snapper Rock Pinot Noir 2015

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - South Island
Review Date : 06-Sep-2016
Light ruby-red colour with some depth and pale purple hues on edge. The nose is light with fresh and uncomplicated aromas of red cherries and raspberry elements and dark herbs at the core. This is clean, up-front and quite primary in expression. Medium-bodied, light and up-front aromatic fruit flavours of red cherries and raspberries are entwined with fresh herbs, providing a juicy and bright mouthfeel. The fruit is supported by light tannin extraction and grip with fresh, balanced acidity lending energy and vitality, The wine flows easily, with the flavours receding to a light finish. This is a light, uncomplicated, juicy Pinot Noir with cherry and raspberry flavours and a light finish. Serve with tapas and antipasto over the next 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit from Ward in Marlborough blended with Waipara fruit, destemmed and fermented to 13.2% alc., the wine aged 4 months in French oak. 15.5+/20 Sep 2016 RRP $19.99
