Slightly hazy, even, pale yellow. The nose is bright and lifted, with aromas of citrus, pineapple, saline, layered spice, nut and clarified butter. Medium-full bodied, aromas of grapefruit, lemon curd, nectarine and pineapple, intertwined with spiced nut mix, cream and stony mineral. This wine is nicely structured by stony minerals, fine phenolics and fresh acidity, reflecting a broadness on the palate. The fruit shows purity and is expressive, carrying good length and an enticing finish. Match with roasted quail and pork chop over the next 8+ years. Fruit from Fratelli Vineyard in Bridge Pa, handpicked, whole bunch pressed, fermented and aged on lees in French oak. 13.7% alc. 19+/20 pts (96 pts) Jul 2026 RRP $60
