Deep ruby-red with a purple core, even colour throughout. The nose is full and lifted, with aromas of black plum, blackcurrant, cigar leaf, herbs, cocoa and spice. Full-bodied, aromas of plum and blackcurrant, intermixed with cigar, blackcurrant leaf, cocoa, spice and stony minerals. The wine is rich and concentrated with fine-grained tannins and stony minerals, yielding a bold palate and vitality. Tempranillo provides lightness and juiciness to the blend, following fresh acidity to a lengthy, stony finish. Match with ribeye on the bone over the next 15+ years.
