Sisters Run Epiphany Shiraz 2019, South Australia

Shiraz from Australia - South Australia
Review Date : 31-Mar-2022
Full, dense ruby-black with a purple hue, lighter on the rim. This has a full, vibrant bouquet packed with juicy plums, blackberries, intermixed herbs and minerals. Medium-bodied, blackberries, plums with good depth filled the palate, enriched by earthy minerals, added a savoury tone; bay leaf and dark herbs unfolded. The fruit has concentration and depth and is youthful and playful, supported by juicy and balanced acidity. Smooth with supple, natural tannin extraction strengthens the structure and mouthfeel. This is a smooth-flowing Shiraz with succulent fruit, enticing subtle complexity and a sleek tannin structure. Match with barbeque lamb and Angus beef burger over the next 3-5 years. Fruit from McLaren Vale, fermented to 14.5% alc. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Mar 2022 RRP $30
