Sister’s Run Bethlehem Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, Barossa

Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia - South Australia
Review Date : 18-Jul-2022
Deep, full ruby-red, lighter on edge. The nose is pretty, softly full, with aromas of cassis, red berries melded with violet, mint, nutmeg and clove. Full-bodied, nuances of cassis, red berries and plums interweave violet, mint, unfolding nutmeg, clove, and subtle meatiness linger. The fruit has balanced ripeness and purity. Fine-grained, ripe tannins and barrel spice endorse layer and interest; salivating acidity enlivens and lingers to a long, sustained finish. This is an attractive Cabernet Sauvignon with pure, succulent fruit, barrel spice and a fine tannin structure. Match with balsamic braised short ribs and ribeye steak over the next 5+ years. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, fermented to 14.5% alc. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) July 2022 RRP $19.99
