Sileni Estates ‘Reserve’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 17-Oct-2018
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour, near colourless on the rim. The nose is softly full with accessible and easy aromas of pungent passionfruit and notes of fresh herbs. This is gently voluminous with moderate depth. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has fresh and zesty flavour of pungent passionfruit and fresh herbs enlivened by brisk acidity forming an elegant core. The fruit flows along a lively line with subtle textures guiding the palate to a clean, light, lingering, mouthwatering finish of passionfruit. This is a crisp and lively, light passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with a mouthwatering palate. Serve with Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 3.7 g/L RS, the wine aged on lees. 16.5+/20 Oct 2018 RRP $23.99
