Selection Ott ‘Les Domaniers’ Cotes de Provence Rosé 2013

Rose from France - Other
Review Date : 16-Sep-2014
Even, pale peach-pink colour, lighter on edge. This has a light nose with delicate and uncomplicated aromas of savoury red fruit, red florals and stonefruits, along with nutty elements. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the flavours of savoury stonefruits and soft red fruits show with moderated depth, revealing some nutty nuances. Soft textures guide the palate with refreshing, mouthwatering acidity providing balance and liveliness. This has vinosity and good presence that leads to a thirst-quenching, dry finish with earthy floral notes. This is a light, savoury fruited, mouthwatering rosé with good vinous presence. Serve with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years. 65% Grenache, 25% Cinsault and 10% Syrah fermented to 13.0% alc. 16.5/20 Sep 2014 RRP $25.99
