Selaks ‘Berries & Cream Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 18-Oct-2017
Bright, light salmon-pink colour with hints of purple on the rim. The nose is delicate with fresh, ethereal and fragrant aromas of strawberries and raspberries and hints of cream with an amalgam of red florals and fresh herbs. The aromatics are clean and gently mouthwatering. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has elegant flavours with good intensity, showing strawberries and raspberries with lifted red florals. The mouthfeel has sweetness and a little creaminess, balanced by a light, fine-textured thread and fresh acidity. The aromatic fruit flavours carry with good linearity to a lingering finish with a little thirst-quenching spritz. This is an elegant dry rosé with light strawberry and raspberry fruit with aromatic florals and a fresh thirst-quenching finish. Match with canapes, tapas and dim sum over the next 2 years. Hawke’s Bay fruit, 93.5% Merlot, 4.2% Malbec and 2.3% Gewurztraminer, cool-fermented to 13.1% alc. and 5 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Oct 2017 RRP $21.99
