Sea Level ‘Home Block’ Nelson Pinot Gris 2011

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 07-Oct-2012
Bright, light, golden-straw colour. This has a very fresh, tight nose with lifted aromatics of yellow flowers, spices and honey, along with minerals and steel, all expressed with delicacy. Dry and very tightly bound on palate, this has delicate textures supporting white stonefruits and minerals. This is crisply acidic on the palate and the flavours show real linearity and drive. Very much in the Pinot Grigio style. Fruit from the ‘Home Block', cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 7.5 g/L rs. 17.5/20 Oct 2012
