Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 12-Sep-2024
Deep ruby-red with a slight purple hue, lighter on the rim. The nose is gently full, with aromas of cherry, raspberry, dark plum, earthy minerals, herb and delicate spice. Medium-bodied, aromas of dark plum, cherry and raspberry entwined with black pepper, nutmeg and oregano. The wine is mouth-filling with finely woven tannins, unfolding a black tea nuance. The spices flow along with balanced acidity and elevate a savoury closing. This Pinot Noir shows an earthy and savoury palate with smooth tannins. Match with lamb cutlets and duck over the next 5 years.
