Scott Base Central Otago Pinot Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 29-Nov-2017
Very pale pink colour with a little depth, lighter on edge. The nose is softly fresh with aromas of white stonefruits, a little honeysuckle, and nuances of fragrant red florals with mouthwatering mineral suggestions. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a firm core with subtle and delicate flavours of white stonefruits, a little honey and nuances of red florals. The palate possesses a fine, firm phenolic-textured line providing a dry, thirst-quenching mouthfeel. The wine carries with a little alcohol drive to a light, dry, lingering, nuanced finish of stonefruits and florals. This is a delicately flavoured dry rosé with stonefruit and honeysuckle flavours on a mouthwatering, fine, textural palate. Serve as an aperitif and with canapés over the next 2 years. Predominantly Pinot Gris spending 48 hours on skins blended with saigneed Pinot Noir and fermented to 13.5% alc. and 6 g/L RS. 16.5+/20 Nov 2017 RRP $22.00
