Schubert Wairarapa Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 03-Dec-2016
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour. The nose is very fresh and vibrant with lively, refreshing aromas of gooseberry fruit and fresh herbs, along with subtle pungent notes, forming a tight core with mineral nuances. Dry to taste, the palate has fresh gooseberry fruit with enrichening tropical fruit notes. This has subtle textures underlining the fruit. The mouthfeel is vibrant, crisp and bracing, the fruit with a thirst-quenching lusciousness. The wine retains elegance, and finishes dry. A stylish Sauvignon Blanc with an amalgam of cool and ripe fruit, quite mouthwatering and racy. Cool-fermented in tank with around 5% barrel-fermented to 13.0% alc. Certified BioGro organic. 17.5+/20 Dec 2016 RRP $26.00
