Satellite Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 24-Oct-2017
Bright, light straw-yellow colour with some green hues, pale edged. The nose is up-front with moderately concentrated aromas of gooseberries and passionfruit, fresh herbs and snow peas. The aromatics are softly presented. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has up-front flavours of gooseberries and passionfruit with herbs and some cut-grass and nettle notes. The palate has depth and a firm core. The mouthfeel is brisk and racy with lively acidity, and the wine flows with good energy along a fine-textured line to a lingering finish of gooseberries and nettles. This is a fresh and lively, up-front Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberry, passionfruit and cut-grass flavours with a fine line. Match with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Fruit from the Wairau Valley, fermented to 12.0% alc. and 3.1 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Oct 2017 RRP $16.00
