Satellite Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 07-Feb-2017
Bright, light straw-yellow colour, pale on the rim. The nose is very fresh and up-front with elegantly presented aromas of ripe passionfruit and tropical fruits, along with floral notes, fresh herbs and subtle mineral nuances and fermentation esters. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegant with flavours of passionfruit, fresh herbs and cut-grass notes. The mouthfeel is crisp with light, dry, phenolic textures and brisk, mouthwatering, background acidity. The flavour carry with good flow, leading to a light, clear and dry, lively, lingering finish of passionfruit and herbs. This is an elegant, crisp, passionfruit flavoured Sauvignon Blanc with fine, dry textures and mouthwatering acidity. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Wairau Valley fruit cool-fermented in tank to 12.5% alc. and 2.4 g/L RS. 16.5+/20 Feb 2017 RRP $17.00
