Satellite Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Oct-2015
Full, even, light straw-yellow colour with lemon-green hues, pale on edge. The nose is full and openly accessible with good breadth, showing an amalgam of ripe gooseberry fruit, notes of passionfruit, aromatic herbs, yellow capsicums, and nuances of cut grass and minerals. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the fruit is up-front and accessible with light flavours of tropical fruits, sweet herbs, passionfruit and yellow stonefruits. This is plush, juicy and smooth-flowing with soft textures, moderately fresh acidity and gentle drive. The wine carries to a light, sustained finish with passionfruit and herbal nuances. This is a soft, accessible, plush Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit, tropical fruit and sweet herbal flavours, and a light finish. Match with Asian cuisine over the next 2 years. Fruit from vineyards in the Wairau Valley, fermented to 12.0% alc. and 2.9 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $17.95
