Saint Clair ‘Vicar’s Choice’ ‘Bright Light’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 07-Nov-2013
Bright, very pale straw colour with some pale green hues, near colourless on rim. The bouquet is fresh and smooth in presentation with gently concentrated aromas of passionfruit, gooseberries and fresh herbs, lifted with white florals. Dryish to taste and light bodied, clean, clear and gentle flavours of passionfruit and gooseberries are brightened by fine, mouthwatering acidity. The wine is balanced with a fine textured line guiding the palate to a light, dry finish with passionfruit and minerally nuances. This is a light, clean and softly balanced, dryish Sauvignon Blanc to serve with salads, vegetables and Fusion fare over the next 18 months. 100% Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 9.5% alc. and 9.3 g/L RS. 16.0/20 Nov 2013 RRP $19.50
