Saint Clair Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 26-Aug-2011
Brilliant pale straw-yellow colour with pale green hues, this has a softly full, intense and textured nose of ripe, pungent passionfruit, tropical fruit and fresh capsicums. Dry to taste, the palate is crisp, fresh and zesty with slippery acidity carrying concentrated flavours of passionfruit, fresh herbs and minerals. The wine has excellent depth and concentration and a long, sustained finish.. Fruit from the Lower Wairau Valley and Rapaura cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 3.4 g/L rs. This will develop more richness and lusciousness over the next 2-3 years. Match with seafood, poultry and vegetables. 18.5-/20 Aug 2011 RRP $21.50
