Saint Clair Marlborough Riesling 2010

Riesling from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 07-Jun-2011
Fruit primarily from the Omaka and upper Wairau valleys, supplemented with some Awatere grapes, cool tank-fermented to 12.0% alc., and 10.6 g/L rs. Light straw-yellow colour with green hues, this has an elegant and fine nose with good intensity of limes, florals and white stonefruits. Off-dry to taste, there are light, delicate fruit flavours of lime and citrus fruits, florals and minerals, backed by refreshing acidity. Clean, fresh and straightforward, the wine has a soft-textured, moderately long finish. Serve as an aperitif and with lightly spiced foods over the next 2-4 years. 16.5-/20 Jun 2011 RRP $21.50
