Saint Clair Marlborough Pinot Gris Rosé 2012

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 26-Mar-2013
Very pale pink colour. This has a fresh, clean nose with aromas of strawberries and watermelon, along with a minerally steeliness, the bouquet soft, up-front and even. Dryish to taste, light and delicate fruit flavours of strawberries and raspberries form a soft and very accessible palate. The mouthfeel is soft, with balanced acidity allowing the subtle fruit sweetness build. The fruit is softly carried to a light and gentle, dry finish. This is a light, fresh and easy rosé with delicate flavours, ideal for al fresco dining. A blend of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir spending a few hours on skins and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 5.7 g/L rs. 16.0/20 Mar 2013 RRP $21.50
