Medium ruby-red, even colour throughout. The nose is full, with aromas of plum, mulberry, spices and herbs. Medium-light bodied, aromas of plum, red berry and mulberry melded with clove and star anise. The fruit is forward, supported by fresh acidity; spices enrich and layer with a slightly firm tannin grip. This Merlot is youthful and approachable, with fresh, juicy red fruit and spice details. Match with burgers and pork ribs over the next 3 years. Fermented to 12% alc. 17+/20 pts (86 pts) May 2025 RRP $27
