Sacred Hill ‘Reserve’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Oct-2015
Bright, very pale straw colour with green hues, near colourless. The nose is tightly concentrated with aromas of gooseberry fruit melded with light layers of passionfruit and green capsicums, expressed with a refreshing steely minerality. Cooler spectrum grassy and nettle elements emerge in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, this has an elegant core of juicy gooseberry fruit entwined with passionfruit and grassy notes. The mouthfeel is lively and bright with mouthwatering acidity and features soft textures and line. This is well-balanced with good energy, and th palate leads to a long lingering, soft finish of passionfruit. This is a juicy, well-balanced Sauvignon Blanc with soft acidity and mouthfeel. Serve with Asian cuisine over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 3.4 g/L RS. 17.5/20 Oct 2015 RRP $24.99
