Sacred Hill Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Oct-2015
Known as the ‘Orange Label’. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.6% alc. and 3.0 g/L RS. Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is full and up-front with softly packed aromas of pungent passionfruit interwoven with nuances of tropical fruits and herbs, revealing some chalky hints. This has good depth and openly accessible. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, this has flavours of pungent passionfruit that softly fill the mouth. The palate is crisp and racy with elevated, slippery acidity which enhances the juiciness of the fruit. The wine follows a fine-textured line that carries the flavours of passionfruit and herbs to a dry, soft finish. This is a full, up-front, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with slippery acidity and a dry finish. Match with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. 17.0+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $19.99
