Sacred Hill Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Aug-2013
Popularly known as the ‘Orange Label’. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 2.6 g/L RS, with 8.0 g/L TA and 3.14 pH. Brilliant, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is softly full and broad with deep aromas of pungent passionfruit entwined with exotic tropical fruit nuances and citrus elements, and steely minerals. Dry to taste, soft fruit flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruit and minerals show good depth and flow on a smooth and harmonious palate. The acidity is restrained, enhancing the mellow mouthfeel and gentle accessibility, and the flavours lead to an ethereal, aromatic finish. This is a soft and mellow Sauvignon Blanc with good depth and concentrated passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours. Match with seafood, poultry and pasta dishes over the next 2 years. 17.5-/20 Aug 2013 RRP $22.99
