Sacred Hill ‘HALO’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 20-Mar-2014
Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc cool-fermented to 12.5% alc. and 3.0 g/L RS. Bright, very pale straw colour with green hues, pale on rim. The bouquet is soft and gentle, with even aromas of passionfruit, fresh herbs and nettles, along with green capsicum and minerally elements. Dry to taste ans elegant in presentation, tightly bound, slender flavours of passionfruit nettles and gooseberries form an intense core. The mouthfeel is brisk and racy, following a fine, textured line, and mouthwatering, with a little fruit succulence enhancing the liveliness. The fine phenolic thread carries the flavours to a crisp and dry finish. This is a very crisp, dry, mouthwatering and finely textural Sauvignon Blanc. Match with seafood and Mediterranean cuisine over the next 2 years. 17.5-/20 Mar 2014 RRP $24.99
