Sacred Hill ‘HALO’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 17-Jun-2013
Brilliant, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, pale on rim. This has a light, elegant bouquet with restrained aromas of fresh white florals, lime fruit and gooseberries, along with delicate mineral and fresh herb elements. Dry and medium-light bodied, tightly bound, delicate flavours of limes, minerals and gooseberries feature with racy, brisk and mouthwatering acidity, providing a lively, crisp and steely mouthfeel. This has lovely purity and the refreshing flavours lead to a tightly bound, zesty finish that lingers with long and sustained minerally nuances. This is a crisp, racy and delicate Sauvignon Blanc with mineral and gooseberry flavours. Serve with seafood over the next 2+ years. Fruit from estate Awatere and Wairau Valley vineyards fermented to 12.5% alc. and 4.6 g/L rs. 17.0+/20 Jun 2013 RRP $24.99
