S-Series ‘Moscato’ Sparkling NV

Sparkling Wine from New Zealand - Gisborn
Review Date : 21-Nov-2012
Bright, even, pale staw-yellow with slight green hues, fine bubble with good persistence. The nose is fresh and clean with light aromas of grapey Muscat fruit and florals, revealing a subtle herb element. Medium in sweetness, this is light and elegant in weight with restrained grapey flavours along with tea-leaf and sherbet. The mousse is gently frothy and carries the fruit to a dryish, lightly textured finish. This is a light and delightfully fresh sparkling wine with pleasing grape and floral flavours. Enjoy in the sun outdoors with fresh fruit over the next 18 months. Muscat fruit from Gisborne cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 10.5% alc. and 26 g/L rs, the wine was carbonated. 16.0-/20 Nov 2012 RRP $19.99
