Dark, deep, ruby-red colour with light purple hues on rim. This has a fresh and elegant nose of ripe dark raspberry fruit with lifted whole berry fermentation aromas of fruit pastilles, the aromatics up-front and easy. Medium-bodied, full flavours of lusciously juicy raspberry fruit intermingle with confectionary and plum jam notes, forming a good deep core. The mouthfeel is soft and plush, with light, supple tannin extraction. Fresh acidity enlivens the fruit, providing vibrancy and vitality and the wine is carried with underlying alcohol drive to a sweet, juicy raspberry fruited finish. This is a plush, up-front, raspberry fruited Pinot Noir with freshness and vibrancy. Serve with antipasto, pasta and barbecued foods over the next 3+ years.
