Ruru Central Otago Rosé 2018

Rose from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 19-Aug-2018
Pale candyfloss pink with slight peach hues and some depth, lighter on the edge. The nose is softly fresh with gentle aromas of strawberry fruit along with fragrant red florals, and a suggestion of savoury, mouthwatering minerals. The aromatics possess a taut and elegantly concentrated core. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is lively and mouth-wateringly fresh with subtle flavours of strawberries, pomegranate and red florals. The flavours build to form a fine, tight heart, and the wine flows along a light-textured line with brisk acidity, leading to a thirst-quenching finish with floral nuances. This is a lively and refreshing dry rosé with strawberry and floral notes , a fine-textured line and fresh acidity. Serve as an aperitif, with antipasto and dim sum over the next 2 years. Hand-picked Pinot Noir fruit, given a cold soak and fermented in stainless-steel to 13.3% alc. and 4 g/L RS. 18.0-/20 Aug 2018 RRP $21.00 Disclaimer: This wine is distributed by ‘Wine2Trade’, the company under which ‘Raymond Chan Wine Reviews’ operates
