Running With Bulls Garnacha 2018, Barossa Valley

Garnacha from Australia - South Australia
Review Date : 11-Sep-2020
Vibrant, ruby-black with a slight garnet hue, lighter on edge. The nose is upfront and welcoming, juicy fruit aromas of bramble, cherries, long with cinnamon barks and pepper. Medium-bodied, ripe cherries, bramble are bright and vibrant, melded with subtle cinnamon and black pepper. The wine is succulent and round flavoured with ripe fruit underlying balanced alcohol power. The palate is smooth with natural powdery tannin, carries good energy flows to a lingering finish. This is an easy-drinking Garnacha with ripe fruit flavours of bramble and cherries, alcohol balance and a smooth flow. Match with barbeque char siu and lamb with harissa over the next 2-3 years. Garnacha co-fermented with 5% Tempranillo to 13% alc. Vegan friendly. 17.5+/20 pts Sept 2020 RRP $24.95
