Even, dark ruby-red colour with some depth, a little lighter on the rim. The bouquet is elegantly concentrated with aromas of dark-red berry and cherry fruit entwined with dark plum and liquorice nuances, dark herbs, spice elements and nutty oak. The nose is fresh and shows fruit vitality. Medium-full bodied, the palate features bright, dark-red berry, raspberry and cherry fruits .lifted by red floral elements, revealing notes of spice, liquorice and plums. This is elegantly concentrated with fine-grained tannin structure and balanced, fresh acidity lending energy and vitality. The flavours carry to a long and sustained finish with taut, fine tannins, and fresh cherry and berry fruit notes. This is a bright, fresh, elegantly concentrated Pinot Noir with cherry-berry flavours and fine tannin grip. Serve with poultry, pork, beef and lamb dishes over the next 5 years. 100% Abel clone, hand-picked and fermented with 20% whole berries to 14.0% alc., the wine aged 14 months in 29%new French oak barriques, bottled unfiltered. 17.5/20 Jun 2016 RRP $28.00
