Rossendale Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 16-Jan-2018
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, lighter on the edge. The nose is soft and elegant with gently concentrated aromas of passionfruit and tropical fruit and fresh herbs. This has good volume and proportion. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly presented, quite taut and slender, with a core of passionfruit entwined with chalky minerals forming a light, dry-textured palate line. The mouthfeel is enlivened by bright, zesty acidity and the wine carries to a light, grainy-textured finish. This is a taut, dry-textured Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit and herb flavours and a zesty mouthfeel. Match with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit tank-fermented to 12.5% alc. and 5 g/L RS. 16.5/20 Jan 2018 RRP $14.00
