Rosell Boher Encarnacion Metodo Tradicional Brut Nature NV, Argentina

Sparkling Wine from Argentina
Review Date : 27-May-2022
Bright, medium straw-yellow, even. Fine and persistent vibrant bubbles. The nose is softly full, with aromas of peach and nectarine underlying cherry, baguette crust, candied walnut and floral fragrance. Medium-full bodied, stonefruit, cherries and apple have a taut core, unfolding caramel candied walnut, baguette, and toast. The wine is fresh with vibrant applely acidity; fine-textured phenolics lend a fine line and linearity. This has a juicy, fine acid tension with balanced, attractive autolysis details. Match with kingfish crudo and salmon steak over the next 5 years. A blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from Finca Los Árboles in Tunuyán 1,250M above sea level Uco Valley, Mendoza. Made under the Traditional Method, spent a minimum of 24 months on lees, 12.6% alc, 7 g/l RS. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) May 2022 RRP $42
