Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Central Otago & Waitaki
Review Date : 15-Sep-2022
Deep ruby-red, lighter on the rim, youthful in appearance. The nose is enticing and perfumed, with aromas of blueberry, cherry and plum melded with violet and vanilla pods. Medium-bodied, aromas of plum, cherry and blueberry show a great sense of purity, unfolding vanilla, violet and black pepper. The fruit has a beautiful balance of sweetness and aromatics, supported by integrated, soft acidity, flowing smoothly along with supple tannins and spice to a pleasing, long finish. This Pinot Noir features pure, lush fruit with well-portioned floral and spice details on a delicate, supple palate. Match with lamb meatballs and pork scotch fillet over the next 5-7 years.
