Light ruby-red, even colour throughout. The nose is soft and delicate, with aromas of raspberry, strawberry, rosehip and spice. Medium-light bodied, aromas of raspberry and strawberry are poised, unfolding rosehip, black pepper and cinnamon. The red fruit is lifted, supported by lively, lacy acidity, and elevated by a touch of spice and floral details. This Pinot Noir is enticing with delicate red fruit and subtle spice. Match with pork chop and duck breast over the next 3 years. The fruit was destemmed, spontaneous fermentation in open-top French oak cuves, over approx three weeks, then pressed off into seasoned French oak barrels for 10 months. 13% alc. 18/20 pts (90 pts) Apr 2025 RRP $39
