Rive della Chiesa Prosecco Treviso DOC Brut

Sparkling Wine from Italy - Veneto
Review Date : 20-Dec-2012
Prosecco fruit from the Montello hills, fermented to 11.0% alc. Bright straw-yellow colour, a little lighter on rim, with a moderately persistent, medium sized bubbles. The bouquet is fresh, clean and light with gentle stonefruit and yellow floral aromas with hints of nuts. Off-dry to taste, delicate flavours of stonefruits and honeysuckle are intermixed with gentle herb and nutty flavours. This has an attractive sweetness and lusciousness which is balanced by fine frothy effervescence and mouthfeel. The palate grows in firmness and drive, leading positively to a light-flavoured, sustained finish, showing a little sugar. This is a delightfully light, fresh and clean sparkling Prosecco wine with a gentle frothy sweetness. Serve as an aperitif over the next 2 years. 16.5+/20 Dec 2012 RRP $22.00
