Light ruby-red colour with some depth, and light garnet hues on rim. This has a soft, light and fragrant nose with harmoniously presented, bright-fruited dark red berry and cherry aromas, along with nuances of fresh herbs, spicy oak and raspberry liqueur that emerge in the glass. Medium-bodied, light, fresh and lifted flavours of red cherries, raspberries and herbs are supported by moderate tannin extraction forming a good core with positive drive. The mouthfeel is supple and juicy with good liveliness and leads to a light, sweet, cherry-nuanced finish. This is an elegant and subtle, sweet cherry fruited Pinot Noir with a fine, fresh mouthfeel. Serve with tuna, poultry and pork over the next 4-5 years. Clones 115, 5, 10/5 and 777, fruit hand-picked and indigenous yeast fermented to 13.0% alc., the wine spending 11-13 days on skins and aged 10 months in 15% new French oak.
