Richmond Plains Nelson Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 18-Mar-2011
Soft, pale straw-yellow colour, this has a light, fresh and tight bouquet of aromatic stonefruits, pears and minerals. Medium-dry to taste, this has flavours of luscious, just-ripened nectarines and greengage with pear notes. The wine is gentle and light through the palate, with restrained acidity, and the residual sugar gives an unctuous texture, carrying the pear and stonefruit nuances on the finish, Drink over the next 2+ years with Asian cuisine. Made from fruit undergoing conversion to organic certification, and cool-fermented to 14.5% alc., with 6.9 g/L rs. Suitable for vegans. 17.5+/20 Mar 2011 RRP $19.99
