Richmond Plains Nelson Blanc de Noir 2014

Rose from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 17-Oct-2014
Full, even, pale pink-blush colour. The nose is light, fresh, steely and mouthwatering with subtle and delicately entwined aromas of white stonefruits and red floral perfumes. Dryish to taste and medium-light bodied, delicate and pretty fruit nuances of stonefruits, strawberries and florals are refreshed by minerally hints. The mouthfeel is gentle with soft, lacy acidity and positive, vinous textures. This is harmonious and balanced, and the wine flows with good energy to a light, dry-textured finish. This is a delicate and pretty, dryish Blanc de Noir with soft vinosity and freshness. Serve as an aperitif, with dim sum or tapas over the next 2 years. Hand-picked Pinot Noir fruit from the ‘Richmond Plains’ vineyard, WBP and fermented to 12.9% alc. and 8.54 g/L RS. Vegan wine and certified AsureQuality organic. 879 cases made. 16.0+/20 Oct 2014 RRP $21.90
