Ribbonwood Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 25-Oct-2015
Bright, light straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, pale edged. This has a light nose with shy, uncomplicated aromas of yellow and green stonefruits, yellow capsicums and herbs, with some floral and confectionary lift. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses light flavours of green and yellow stonefruits, along with nuances of gooseberries and herbs. The mouthfeel is fresh with lively acidity and soft, underlying textures. The wine carries to a gentle finish with luscious and juicy fruit notes. This is a light-fruited, balanced Sauvignon Blanc with an easy freshness. Serve as an aperitif and with Asian fare over the next 18 months. Fruit from 70% Wairau and 30% Awatere valleys, fermented in tank to 13.0% alc. and 4 g/L RS. 16.0-/20 Oct 2015 RRP $17.00
