Red Deer Marlborough Rosé 2018

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 09-Dec-2018
Bright, pale salmon-pink colour with slight peach hues and some depth, lighter on the edge. The nose is fresh with a firm core of mouthwatering aromas of quince fruit with subtle savoury notes, along with watermelon and hints of minerals. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a gently rich luscious core with flavours of strawberries, watermelon and savoury quince. Lacy acidity bestows the palate with freshness and liveliness, and the flavours flow along a slippery line with light and fine phenolic textures. The wine carries to a thirst-quenching, dry finish. This is a gently sweet-fruited, dry rosé with strawberry, quince and watermelon flavours with fresh acidity and a slippery palate. Serve with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir fruit direct to press and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 4 g/L RS. 16.5+/20 Dec 2018 RRP $20.00
