Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 15-Oct-2025
Moderately deep ruby-red, even colour throughout. The nose is rich, with aromas of thyme, earth, overlying cherry, blackberry and mocha. Medium-bodied, aromas of black cherry and blackberry entwined with thyme, earthy clay and mocha details. The fruit is succulent with balanced ripeness, smooth-grained tannins layering earthy elements and a hint of saline, lending an elegant, lingering finish. This Pinot Noir is accessible and harmonious, featuring herbaceous and earthy details alongside black fruit. Match with roasted duck and lamb over the next 3-5 years. Fermented to 13.5% alc. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Oct 2025 RRP $24.99
