Bright, pale cerise-pink with slight purple hues, lighter on the rim. This has a tight and elegantly concentrated nose with aromas of strawberries, cherries, cranberries and pomegranate, with lifted red florals. The aromatics are refreshing, building in fruitiness, revealing nuances of mouthwatering minerals. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the palate features a sweetly aromatic core of strawberries and cherries, cranberries and pomegranate fruit with lifted red florals and nuances of fermentation esters. The fruit is carried along a light, drying, fine-textured phenolic line, leading to a thirst-quenching, lingering finish with florals and esters. This is an aromatic dryish rosé with lifted fruit and a fine, drying, mouthwatering line. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes and antipasto over the next 2 years. Marlborough Pinot Noir fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 6 g/L RS, the wine aged 2 months on lees. 17.5-/20 Aug 2017 RRP $18.99
