Rapaura Springs Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 15-Sep-2015
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless on rim. The nose is softly full and voluminous, with rounded and densely packed aromas of pungent passionfruit harmoniously melded with tropical fruit and subtle mineral elements. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, this is full and upfront with open flavours of passionfruit and tropical fruits. The fruit is sweet and luscious, building in depth and enlivened by mouthwatering background acidity. The mouthfeel is soft and the wine smooth-flowing, following a fine-textural thread, leading to a long and dry finish. This is a full and luscious Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit flavours and soft, mouthwatering acidity. Serve with salads and vegetables, and Asian cuisine over the next 2 years. Fruit from across the Marlborough sub-regions, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 3.7 g/L RS. 18.0/20 Sep 2015 RRP $13.99
